Blog Overview
The Blog section enables you to display articles of your preference that you wish to have highlighted within your storefront.
Blog Settings
General Settings
- Color Scheme: This setting can be used to customize or choose a predefined color palette to be applied to the Blog section.
- Heading: Use this field to add the main heading text that introduces the Blog section.
- Subheading: Here you can add a smaller heading that will appear above the main title.
- Description: Within this field, you can provide additional context for the posts being rendered.
- Content Alignment: Controls the alignment of the heading, subheading, and description.
- Image Ratio: Controls how blog featured images are displayed within their containers. Fit to Box ensures images fit neatly within the available container while maintaining their proportions, whereas Adaptive Image displays images using their original aspect ratios.
- Section Type: Determines how blog posts are displayed, either in in a horizontally scrollable carousel, or grid layout.
Border Radius
Desktop: Adjusts the corner rounding of blog cards and featured images on desktop devices.
Mobile: Adjusts the corner rounding of blog cards and featured images on mobile devices.
Slider Settings
These settings apply only when Section Type is set to Slider.
Enable Drag Button (Slider): When enabled, the drag button navigation is displayed, allowing customers to manually navigate through the blog slider.
Enable Author: Displays the author name for each blog post.
Enable Date: Displays the publication date for each blog post.
Box Size: Controls the overall size of the blog cards. Standard displays blog cards using the default size, whereas Shrink displays a more compact version of the blog cards.
Button
These button settings apply only when the Section Type is set to Grid.
Text: Defines the label displayed on the call-to-action button.
Link: Here you can set the destination page, blog, collection, or custom URL that visitors will be directed to when clicking the button.
Open Link in New Tab: When enabled, the button link opens in a new browser tab.
Spacing (desktop)
Top: Controls the amount of spacing above the Blog section on desktop devices.
Bottom: Controls the amount of spacing below the Blog section on desktop devices.
Spacing (mobile)
Top: Controls the amount of spacing above the Blog section on mobile devices.
Bottom: Controls the amount of spacing below the Blog section on mobile devices.
Blog Item Block Settings
Helps in the addition of a blog/ article to be rendered on the Blog block.
