Footer Overview
This section is located at the bottom of the storefront and acts as a key area to provide customers with essential links, social info, contact details, newsletter sign-ups, and additional resources.
Footer Settings
General Settings
- Color Scheme: Allows you to customize and choose a color palette to style the footer background and text.
- Enable Follow on Shop Button: When enabled, displays Shopify’s Follow on Shop button, allowing customers to follow your store through the Shop/ Shop Channel app.
- Background Image: Upload the image that will act as the background to the footer section.
- Overlay Opacity: Controls the opacity of the background overlay displayed above the footer background image.
Border radius
Desktop: Adjusts the corner rounding of the footer containers on desktop devices.
Mobile: Adjusts the corner rounding of the footer container on mobile devices.
Logo
Enable Logo: When enabled, displays your store logo within the footer.
Logo Position: Controls the placement of the footer logo, either to the top or bottom of the footer.
Show Social Icons: When enabled, it displays the social media icons configured in your store settings.
Enable Title Border: Displays a decorative border beneath footer block headings.
Footer Bottom Border: Displays a border separating the main footer content from the footer bottom area.
Show Currency: When enabled, a currency selector is displayed in the footer.
Show Language: When enabled, a language selector is displayed in the footer.
Show Payment Gateways: When enabled, payment method icons associated with your store’s enabled payment providers are rendered on the footer.
Copyright Content
Show Copyright: Once enabled, the footer copyright text is displayed.
Custom Copyright Text: Here you can add the custom copyright text to display in the footer.
Show “Powered by Shopify”: When enabled, the Powered by Shopify attribution is rendered in the footer.
Spacing Desktop
Top: Controls the amount of spacing above the footer on desktop devices.
Bottom: Controls the amount of spacing below the footer on desktop devices.
Spacing mobile
Top: Controls the amount of spacing above the footer on mobile devices.
Bottom: Controls the amount of spacing below the footer on mobile devices.
Footer Blocks Configuration
Social Info
The Social Info block allows you to display your store’s contact information.
Menu List
Enables you to select and display a navigation menu within the footer. Within the Heading field you can set the title you wish to be displayed above the menu.
Newsletters
Displays an email subscription form that allows customers to subscribe to your mailing list.
